Esterly Concrete Co., Inc was originally founded in 1977 as Esterly Burial Vault Co., with the main operation being manufacturing and delivering burial vaults to Funeral directors and Cemeteries in Berks and surrounding counties.

In 1984, Howard Esterly bought his first Volumetric Concrete Truck and started delivering in the Reading area. In 1988, Jay Esterly joined the family business, and Brian Esterly followed in 1998. By 2010, Howard was ready to retire and sold the business to Jay and Brian.

During the following years, we expanded the Burial Vault Company and purchased two of our competitors, Miller Burial Vault and Graffius Burial Vault. We have also grown the Fleet of Volumetric Concrete Trucks, built a new facility to store all trucks inside, and expanded loading operations.

Today, in addition to manufacturing and delivering burial vaults, we specialize in delivering metered concrete, which helps save money by “Paying for what you use.” Our drivers are fully trained, and trucks are maintained and calibrated to offer the highest quality product.
